Kids often levy the complaint against their parents that they’re not listening. While sometimes they’re correct, often parents hear what their children say but fail to respond…..
Like all the crucial C’s, courage doesn’t necessarily come naturally. As I noted last week, it’s even hard for parents to want to develop courage in our children because it means asking our kids to struggle and sometimes even suffer along the way.
But we don’t find courage without encouragement……
As we approach Easter, I find that I have come to the fourth and final crucial C that we need to develop within ourselves to equip ourselves adequately for the human endeavor: courage. Without planning it, I find new links between my parenting course teaching about courage…..
